NFM 2026

Venue

The NFM 2026 Symposium will be held at the Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience (MCB), Room 101, on the campus of the University of Southern California.

Airports

The closest large international airport to the University of Southern California is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Some American cities also have flights to Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), although the commute is longer.

Directions to the venue

While Los Angeles has a significant railway system, the easiest way to get to the USC campus from any airport is still by using rideshare services. Uber, Lyft and Opoli operate in Los Angeles. In LAX, travelers must first take a free shuttle (green buses labeled LAX-it) to the ridesharing area to use these services.

Metro line E connects Santa Monica to Downtown LA with three stops around USC. Specifically, “Expo Park / USC” is the closest metro station to the Michelson Center. To use the metro (or any public transportation system in LA), travelers need to use a TAP card, which can be purchased at most metro stations via TAP vending machines or through the official Tap App.

For attendees who want to drive, daily and hourly parking options are available in and around the campus: Link

Hotels

There is a variety of accommodation choices available around the venue. USC operates a hotel adjacent to the campus, which is around 10 minutes walk from the venue. We have secured a group rate at the USC Hotel for attendees of the NASA Formal Methods Symposium 2026. Reservations can be made by emailing hotelreservations@usc.edu or by calling 833-226-6587 or 213-748-4141 and mentioning the group name “NASA Formal Methods Symposium 2026.” Rooms can also be booked using the link. Guests are responsible for their own accommodation and any additional charges. Overnight parking is available at $35 plus tax per night, also paid individually. The last day to book under the group rate is April 17, 2026.

In addition, there are several other hotels near USC in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA). Some of these are listed below, sorted alphabetically.
